Mrs. Odella Jones Lee, age 91, of Statesboro, Ga., passed on Thursday April 27th in Cartersville, Ga., at her daughter residence surrounded by her family. She was a Bulloch County native and owner of Lee's Restaurant of Statesboro. She was a member of Historical First African Baptist Church where she served as Mother of the Church and Deaconess Ministry. She was a member of Helpful Chapter #210, Order of Eastern Stars, and L.B. Lodge #125.

She is survived by her loving daughter Mrs. Beatrice (Ken) Baker of Cartersville, Ga.; her loving sons Mr. Eddie (Barbara) Lee of Stone Crest Ga., Mr. Larry Lee of Stockbridge, Ga., Mr. Lonnie Lee of Statesboro, Ga., and Rev. James J.D. (Brenda) Lee of Columbia, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends visitations will be held Friday May 5, 2017 from 5-7pm at Historical First African Baptist Church, Donaldson Avenue, Statesboro, Ga.

Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Odella Lee will be held Saturday May 6, 2017 at 11am at the Miller Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. James Lee, Officiating, and the Rev. Harry James Tremble Jr., Pastor. Interment will be held in Lee's Cemetery, Statesboro, Ga.

Mrs. Odella Lee will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy.
