Mr. Herschel Lee Deloach, age 86, of St. Petersburg, Fl., passed away on January 26, 2019. He was an Evans County native being raised in Bryan County, but resided in St. Petersburg, Fl., for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a former truck driver and co-owner of H&S Trucking. He was a member of the United Community Church of St. Petersburg, Fl. Herschel was known for being a man of God, his love for people, and a remarkable since of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Mrs. Shirley Deloach of St. Petersburg, Fl.; his loving children Herschel Eugene (Earlene) Deloach, Herbert A. Deloach, Steven A. (Stephanie) Heath, LaDawna Lawrence, and Deanne S. Heath; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Family and friends visitations will be held Friday February 1, 2019 from 6-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel
Home Going Celebration for Mr. Herschel Deloach will be held Saturday February 2, 2019 at 1pm at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 244 Jerusalem Church Road, Pembroke, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Wayne E. Wilson, Officiating and the Rev. Victor Brewton, Pastor. Interment will be held in the Beautiful Zion Church Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga., with full military honors.
