Mr. Sylvester Raymond, age 73, passed peacefully away on Sunday May 14th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native. He was a 1963 graduate of William James High School. He retired from Howard Lumber of Statesboro, Ga.

He is survived by his loving sisters Mrs. Elliose (Herbert) Lockhart and Mrs. Rosa Lee (Henry) Wells both of Brooklet, Ga., and Ms. Tracey Hardee of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Frank (Aragene) Reed and Mr. Leonard (Malynda) Raymond both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving step-children Ms. Cynthia Clarke, Mr. Ronald Clarke, and Steve Clarke all of Brooklet, Ga., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday May 20, 2017 from 10-11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.

Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Sylvester Raymond will be held Saturday May 20, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be done by cremation.

Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
