September 14, 1937 ~ July 16, 2017 (age 79) 79 Years Old


 

Mr. Remer Pendergraph, age 79 of Savannah, Ga., passed away peacefully at his residence under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native, but resided in Chatham County for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the owner and operator of Coastal Beauty Supply of Savannah, Ga. He was one of the organizers and chairman of the W.W. Law Center of Savannah and a member of the NAACP Branch of Chatham County. He was the President of the Savannah-Yamaha Branch of A.S.A.L.H (Association of Study Afro-Life & History). He was the founder of the Law Fest Fair & Festival of Savannah, Ga.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Margie Pendergraph of Savannah, Ga.; his loving daughters Mrs. Tracy (Steven) Coakley of Austell, Ga., Ms. Teresa Clause of Pooler, Ga., and Ms. Jerri Ellen Welch of Newan, Ga.; a loving son Mr. Keith Pendergraph of Savannah, Ga.; a loving brother Mr. Leon (Gail) Pendergraph of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

 

Viewing will be held Friday July 21, 2017 12-5pm at the Sylvania Funeral Home of Savannah, Ga., 102 Owens Industial Street., and viewing will be held at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel from 7:30-9pm.

 

Home Going Celebration for Mr. Remer Pendergraph will be Saturday July 22, 2017 at 1:30pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church(Fish Trap) Cemetery, with full military honors.
