My sincerest condolences go out to your family, it's never easy losing someone in death. May you take comfort in God's promise found at Revelation 21:4, which says "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” This verse brought me peace when I experienced loss, I hope it can do the same for you. May the memories you have give you strength during this difficult time.

It is only natural to long for loved ones whom we have lost in death, but we have a real hope for our loved ones who have died. God can remember our dead loved ones in every detail, and he is ready to restore them to life. In Paradise, the dead will rise and be reunited with their loved ones. The Bible’s resurrection accounts such the one in John chapter 11 verses 43 and 44 give us a sure hope that this will happen.

To the family of Mr. Remer Pendergraph please accept my sincere condolence. Although death of a loved one can cause bouts of sadness please allow yourselves to be uplifted by the promise of endless life with perfect health surrounded by the people who cherished the life of Mr. Pendergraph. The scripture at 2 Cor. 1:2,3 calls our Father the God of all comfort. May his love surround you at this time. I look forward to the fulfillment of John 5:28, 29 which tells us that a time is coming when those we have lost will hear Jesus' voice and come back to life! Also, Rev. 21:3, 4 when death will be no more. It is my wish that these scriptures provide you with comfort. For more encouraging words please visit jw.org which will also provide ways to cope with grief. Again, I am sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to Remer's family. I got to know Remer as I wrote about WW Law for the Savannah Morning News, and I came to see what a great custodian of that legacy he was. I will always admire his character, integrity, and determination. And I will miss my old friend.
