Mrs. Keisha Mercer age 42 of Statesboro, GA passed on Thursday morning in Richmond County from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. She was a Chatham County native having resided in Bulloch County. She was a member of the Spirit Filled Baptist Church of Statesboro, GA. She was employed with Walmart Supercenter of Statesboro. She was a 1993 graduate of Windsor Forest High School of Savannah GA., and attended Georgia Southern University and Ogeechee Technical College where she received a degree in Medical Assisting and Phlebotomy. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Stars and Helpful Chapter #210. She was a member of the Street Reapers motorcycle club where she served as former First Lady.

She is survived by her loving husband Mr. O'Quillian Mercer of Statesboro, GA.; her loving daughter Miss Lynnsey Mercer of Statesboro, GA., and Anjali Mercer Singh of Rincon, Ga.; her loving parents Apostle Fred and Evangelist Juanita Matthews of Fayetteville, NC. ; her loving sister Mrs. Erica Matthews(Lawrence, Jr.) Primus of El Paso, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends visitations will be held Friday May 12, 2017 from 6-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.

Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Keisha Mercer will be held Saturday May 13, 2017 at 1pm at the Believers Church of Statesboro, 7059 Harville Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Deborah Lawton, Presiding, Apostle Larry Lawton, Eulogist, and the Rev. Scott Moore, Pastor. Interment will be held in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga.
