Ms. Gloria Johnson, age 65, of Brooklet, Ga., passed away on Friday January 12th at her residence under the professional care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was employed with Braswell Food Company for over 20 years before her illness. She loved planting flowers and gardening.

She survived by her loving son George (Contessa) Johnson, Jr., of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving partner Landers Dukes of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving husband George Johnson, Sr., of Statesboro, Ga.; her loving sisters Janelle (Gene) Raymond, Ruby (Fred White) Hill, and Patricia (Ralph) Scott all of Statesboro, Ga., Luella (Ronnie) Cope and Linda Cone both of Brooklet, Ga., Charlotte Lovett of Savannah, Ga.; her loving brothers Roosevelt (Janice) Cone, Gary (Tina) Cone, Abram Cone, and Harry Cone all of Brooklet, Ga., Larry (Virginia) Cone of Statesboro, Ga., and Charles Cone of Macon, Ga.; her loving grandchildren Kourtney Brown, Brandon Johnson, George Johnson III, Tayshawn Reddish, and DyKenya Johnson; her loving great grandchildren Blake Booker, Kierstyn Booker, and Chance Booker; her special loved ones Shawn Johnson, Travis Cone, and Chris Rogers, Jr., a loving friend Ruthie Mae Douglas; and a host nieces, nephews, and  other relatives and friends.

Family and friends visitations will be held Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.

Home Going Celebration Services for Mrs. Gloria Ann Johnson will be held Thursday January 18, 2018 at 2pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga.
